Thanks for watching. I'm meteorologist Jacqueline Thomas heading through the overnight hours and into Thursday. We're tracking more impact weather with *** burst of snow changing to that mixing and even *** change to rain in southern areas, but some slick travel is expected, so use caution if you have to head out at all, just something to be aware of. You might encounter some slick spots. So in the future cast as we head through the night tonight, any of that initial snow starts to. Change over to *** mix during the overnight hours you'll notice the pink here on the future cast indicating that chance for some mixing *** little bit of sleet, and even *** little freezing rain can't be ruled out too. But then we also see *** change to plain rain as temperatures start to rise into Thursday. So that mix starts to shift *** little bit further off to the north as you head through Thursday morning. It's northern areas, central and north that you really have the best chance to. Hang on to any slick conditions for *** little bit while southern areas are already getting in on just plain rain and seeing improving conditions and not really seeing *** risk for the slick travel as we head towards Thursday afternoon, that rain moves out. We see some drier conditions, can't rule out *** spotty shower though lingering or popping up later on in the day. As far as how much snow we see from this, not much, just *** dusting. *** little coating can't be ruled out, uh, especially on grassy surfaces, but really Manchester south and east, not going to see much more than that. And then you see that change over as you head further north towards the lakes region, that's really where you have the best chance of seeing *** couple inches of snow before that change over to some mixing and eventually *** change over to rain into Thursday morning. So can't rule out *** couple of inches that could create some slick spots, but also. Chance for *** little bit of icing, especially as you head further north towards Plymouth and up towards Conway can't rule out the chance for some icing there, creating some slick travel overnight into Thursday morning. So just go slow, give yourself extra time if you're traveling across central northern parts of the state. Through the night tonight, temperatures will be hovering near that freezing mark for many spots, helping to allow for that potential. Of some slick travel and then as we head into Thursday, we get *** little boost in our temperatures. Temperatures rise above freezing into the 40s and 50s for many spots, perhaps close to 60 in spots south in the state. And so any of that mixing early Thursday does change over to plain rain with lingering showers in those morning hours across the state and then eventually seeing some improvement. It is going to be. Little breezy at times too. Rest of the 7 day forecast gives us *** little break on Friday back into some sunshine. Temperatures still on the milder side and then cooler to start the weekend ahead of another system that moves in. So *** little unsettled as we head through these next several days. We get *** little break and then another system moving in, another break as we head towards Monday, and then another chance for *** little mix later on Tuesday.
